Designed By Us, For Us: Created By Neurodivergent Students

NeuroDragons KC is a small but mighty program, created and run by a dedicated group of students and passionate volunteers. Our founder was a neurodivergent student looking to create more safe spaces for others like herself.  Shared experiences and passion drive our volunteers to create the best possible environment for all participants. We believe in the power of D&D to foster imagination, strategic thinking, and lasting friendships within a supportive community.

Partnership With Johnson County Community Library

Our main goal at NeuroDragons KC is to create a safe space where teens can truly be themselves, make friends, socialize, and learn a fun game together. We found this place within JOCO's resources, and our weekly meetings are all held in private meeting rooms in nearby libraries. We ask for your patience and understanding as the program grows and times and locations are adjusted, but rest assured, we are committed to this program and fostering the most welcoming community possible!

Open to All Teens

While NeuroDragons KC was created with neurodivergent teens in mind, all teens within the age range 14-18 with an interest in joining a regular D&D group are welcome. We aim to foster a welcoming environment everyone plays together and hopefully makes new friends. We would also appreciate spreading word of our program to others who may be interested in helping grow our community!
